A new goal…. BMI of 25
As part of Team Playmakers I get a weekly group email from the coach. This week she spent a lot of time talking about healthy eating and keeping an eye on your weight. She recommended an article in Runner’s World that talked about the ideal BMI (Body Mass Index) being between 23.5-25.0. While I don’t think I’m heavy by any stretch, dropping 5 pounds wouldn’t kill me. So to help me stay motivated I will start reporting my BMI with every run.
My goal is to be at 25 before Indy. I recently gave up ice-cream for lent; I guess I’ll have to keep that up for a few more weeks!
