Workout: Long Steady Run: 105 to 120 minutes
What a great run! I had to work today so couldn’t run until after. Then I watched the weather and saw that it was probably going to rain, and didn’t know what to eat for lunch because I was going to be running around 2:00. Lots of anxiety.
The first mile I was a little tight but after that it was smooth sailing. I couldn’t believe how strong I felt. Plus my training program called out that the last 10 to 20 minutes was to run at a somewhat faster pace. I ran the last 4 at a 7:50 pace. My legs were rubber but it was great to know I was clipping along. So much fun.
Anyway I had a great run and really feel like I worked. Such a boost to my confidence, why do I have to wait so long for my race?
