Great run, but out of shape.
Workout: 5 Miles Easy Run
What a great run…. Now I did not say it was an easy run, but it was a great run. This was my first hard run since SD. On Saturday I really wanted to take it easy and see if anything hurt. Tonight I wanted to log some decent mileage at a good pace. Mission accomplished!
It was hard, I can really tell I’ve taken some time off and been eating like crap for two weeks. But I was able to hold 8:30’s which was good. I was breathing heavy and my core felt really soft and jigglely. But on the upside I have a little bit of a post run high. I feel really great and like I did something with my day, like I’m back on track. I was a little crabby before the run and now am feeling much better.
OK… just a little over 4 more months to go!
