3 Miles + Strength & Stretching
Tonight was just 3 miles and then Strength & Stretching. I decided to run it a bit on the fast side as Miami is less than 4 weeks away and I feel like I need to get my pace up. I ran indoors so I could control my pace and then lifted afterwards. It seem like I’ve been lifting and working on my core for almost 2 months. I don’t see great progress but I guess I’ll find out for sure in Miami.
This weekend I run with Team Playmakers again and am going to run 10 miles. My program only calls for one day running this weekend so I think I’m really going to try set a good pace. I think if I can find a group to run with that’s just a bit faster than me it will help. Wish me luck!
Overall I’m feeling like I should be able to beat 2 hours but I’m not as far along as I would like to be. I think the next week or two will really tell me a lot.
