5 Days & Counting
5 more days until Miami. My fate is pretty well sealed at this point. I mean I need to get enough sleep and really watch what I eat towards the end of the week. But other than that my run will be my run.
So tonight I ran 4 miles per Hal Higdon. All in all it was fine. I’m still amazed because when I start the run I feel like it’s no big deal, but I was definitely by tired by the end. You’d think at some point I’d realize 4 miles is going to take some effort.
My game plan at this point is to run 8:30 for the race and stop for water every 2 miles starting at 4. Then Gu at 6 & 10 or 11. We’ll see how it goes.
I noticed a weird knee pain for the first minute or two my run which has me a little alarmed. It kind of feels like my knee-cap is loose and on the right side of my of my knee. I don’t think it’s anything to get too fired up about but worth keeping track of.
