Workout:
4.5 miles
OK… Back on the wagon.
I have been a pitiful little runner these last few months.
Now I find myself 5 weeks from a half marathon and woefully out of shape.
What the hell have I been thinking.
Eating like I was running 50 miles a week and yet barely running 5.
Dumbass!
So the question now becomes how trained can I become in 5 weeks.
Well we’re about to find out.
I’ve decided to use the
Hal Higdon Beginner Half Marathon training program.
It’s a 12 week program and I am starting at week 8.
Dumbass x 2.
Oh well, no reason to cry over spilt milk.
What’s done is done.
Now we’ll just try to log some last minute miles and pray to the running gods for forgiveness.
Tonight’s run was pretty hard, but I got it in.
Only two stops for water.
Dumbass x 3!
